Set on the green in Wick, this pretty cottage (approx 300 years old) and noted to be an old smugglers cottage is adjacent to our other cottage Rose Cottage.

The Cottages are a few minutes stroll away from the river Stour where, you can visit The Tuckton Tea Gardens, and take their vintage ferry's down to Mudeford.

Closer, approx 3/5 minutes walk is the Wick Ferry. A wonderful way to visit Christchurch with its 11th-century priory, quay, riverside cafés, excellent restaurants and Monday morning farmers' market.

(The Wick Ferry operates at weekends form 10.00 - 16.00 hours and more frequently during the summer months) - Christchurch by car is a 5 minute journey.

Walk - from the Shutters to Hengistbury Head and it,s delightful sandy beach. En route a favourite breakfast/ lunch stop is at the Hungry Hiker where one can take a ride down to Mudeford on the Noddy Train. Fares approx £1.00 for adults and 10p for dogs!!!!

Bournemouth is a short drive for the fascinating Oceanarium and Bournemouth Eye, whilst the New Forest National Park offers cycling, walking and riding. Pubs ½ mile.
